Shh..football is sleeping

"Wide receiver Rishard Matthews #18 of the Miami Dolphins (L) celebrates a first half touchdown with tackle Ja'Wuan James #70 of the Miami Dolphins against the Washington Redskins at FedExField on September 13, 2015 in Landover, Maryland."

Watch at any kid participating in a sport - most love to celebrate.

From a kid playing their first snap to a pros playing their last - there is nothing more feel good in sports than letting your emotions take over in a game-winning situation.

While celebrations aren't what they were once when I was a kid in pro football, they're still always interesting to photograph because you never know what a player and or team may do when they score.

Some are wild and outrageous, others are peaceful, spiritual and then there is everything in between.

Maybe it's because my wife and I have a newborn at home, but I loved the reaction of wide receiver Rishard Matthews #18 of the Miami Dolphins after scoring against the Redskins.

Giving the crowd a quiet gesture, he cradled the football as if it was a newborn child.

To these superheros, family comes first I'm sure, even if it's literally a football in their arms after scoring a go-ahead touchdown.
